Ariane on a Historical visit to Meleka } September '03

Ariane was named after Audrey Hepburn's character in 'Love in the Afternoon'. Like the character in the show, Ariane is wilful and free-spirited. However, she does have a sense of elegance in her as well.

We went to Meleka when my fren, ALT, came down for a visit. We had a fun time in Meleka with all the food. Chendol, Chicken Rice Balls, Laksa. Yum Yum!

Personally, I love Meleka. It is a quaint little town, rich with culture. You can still find a lot of arty people there. I hope that the facade of the Meleka town will never change, not like what Singapore did to the old shophouses.

But alas, change is permenant.

It was a windy day. These photos were taken at the church ruins right on top of the hill. Ariane looked rather tired, probably due to the aftermath of good food.
